Prior to gastric bypass, I had never heard of Greek yogurt!  It's amazing to think about all the wonderful new products I've been shown as a result of hanging out with other bariatric patients! While at my favorite store (Wal-mart, which really is NOT my favorite, its just the most convenient), I was perusing the yogurt section and found Oikos.  Now, I can hear you now... "Yes, I've seen it, used it, so what?"  Well, the package had six small containers inside one cardboard holder for a little under $5.

I thought that these would make the perfect individual sized, portion controlled yogurt.  I am always trying to find ways to save (not money, but product).  How many times have I opened up a Greek yogurt, used just a little of it, forgot it was in the fridge and then tossed it out (afraid it was bad)?  Too often!  So small individual portioned cups are perfect for me... and maybe you, too!  I wanted to pass the word on...

And, I visited their website.  They have coupons!  Another great way to save (moolah, that is)!  Visit their site:  Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt.  In the top menu, it says "Coupons" and it will lead you to the current offers.  I got several 50 cent coupons today.  Hey, 50 cents off of a $4.87 package...  that is quite a deal.  Let me also add that their website shows some interesting recipes (Tzatziki sauce, curried turkey salad which looks fab, oh and Greek Shepherd's Pie!).    You may get some great new ideas!
