Being the obsessive person I am...  and can't get my mind off our issues as wls patients...  I'm always searching for products whether it be at Walmart, convenience stores, and online.  I came across this article of shapewear at Walmart recently and couldn't wait to get my hands on it (or, my rearend into it)!

Now let me just add a little bit of precursor here.  Rewind several hours.  I had an eye doctor appointment today.  Sitting in the eye exam room, I peered into the full wall mirror just ahead.  OH MY GOD!  I had a huge roll in my midsection.  I felt so distressed.  I really should not go out in public without a shapewear garment on.  But I was feeling particularly good about myself yesterday since I've been on my UN Diet...  and knew I lost a few pounds (2.3 to be exact)...  <sigh>  Gosh, seeing that roll just deflated my ego.  I was very sad.  And there is not a single thing I can do about it, but pay the $KKK? for plastic surgery, of which I cannot afford nor do I wish to endure another recuperation time for any surgery unless I have to.  I'm done with surgeries hopefully for quite some time... unless my body makes a decision that overthrows the decision my mind has made!

I've strayed from my topic.  Where was I?  Yes, shapewear.  Sorry, I am a bit narcissistic (me, me, me).  This garment cost $20.  I looked it up on Maidenform's site online and its $43.  So Walmart, lowest prices once again!  This garment is very silky, thin, slick.  It is not a pantyhose material, yet when you have it on, it looks like pantyhose.  It matches my skin perfectly!  I did not think it would do much for my tummy area because it is so thin.  But oddly enough, it works.  Now I'm not saying that its my miracle wonder suit.  But it will help hold you in comfortably.  Another attraction is that you can wear your own bra with it.  The cups are flexible (I'm talking THIN material)...  **The material of this garment is so thin, that it would be very unnoticable, a nice piece for those who want inconspicious.

Next are the leggings feature.  They do not come down as far as products like Spanx, Assets, or Lipo In A Box.  They ride up a little bit higher than I WANT, but not too high that they are uncomfortable.  They do not have as much "give" as other shapewears mentioned above...  where the edges of the leggings are very forgiving and stretchy so that they don't cut off your leg circulation!  The Maidenform doesn't pinch or squeeze, but I can see very quickly that if you do not buy the proper size, it is possible that it will make a ridge line through your pants.

"So, Melinda, is it THE ONE?  The MIRACLE SUIT?"  No, so we will keep searching.  It is a nice addition to your shapewear collection, though!  I would say for the money, it is worth a try.
